Manufacturing on Demand for the Energy Industry
Launch faster, reduce risk, and scale with confidence. KaiSpeed provides engineer-led, on-demand manufacturing for energy prototypes, pilot builds, and production parts—combining 5-axis CNC machining, Swiss turning, sheet-metal fabrication, coordinated finishing, and more. From wind and solar hardware to oil & gas, power electronics, and hydrogen systems, we help you move from concept to field deployment with fewer surprises and cleaner hand-offs.
Why Choose KaiSpeed
Field-Ready Quality
Energy parts must meet print, assemble cleanly, and survive vibration, temperature, pressure, and corrosion. On critical features, we can hold tolerances as tight as ±0.001 in (±0.025 mm) where geometry, material, and process allow—validated by calibrated gauges and optional CMM reports. Typical controls include sealing-face flatness, bearing fits, thread gauges, and consistent cosmetic criteria for operator-facing panels.
Fast Lead Time
Parallel scheduling across in-house capacity and vetted partners compresses cycle time. From rapid spares to low-volume batches, we align fixtures, toolpaths, and finishing early to shorten lead times while keeping quality intact. Expedites available upon review.
Engineering Support
Practical DFM/DFA for energy systems: thin-wall & ribbing strategies (weight/cost), pocketing for thermal paths, insert/thread strategies (helicoils, key-locking, thread-forming), corrosion-aware material selections (e.g., 17-4PH, 316L, duplex), cleanliness/deburr plans for hydraulic/pneumatic blocks, and finishing allowances (anodize, chem-film, phosphate, Zn-Ni, powder coat, e-coat). For power electronics, we tune pad flatness, surface roughness, and fixturing to keep thermal resistance low.
Compliance & Documentation
Operate under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system with FAI/IPQC/OQC plans, material/finish/heat-treat certificates, and dimensional/CMM reports on request. When required, we can align documentation and special-process routing to common energy standards.
Manufacturing Services
KaiSpeed provides end-to-end capability for medical prototypes, bridge builds, and production parts. We combine self-owned facilities with a vetted partner network to deliver complex, production-grade components efficiently—under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system with traceable documentation.
CNC Machining
3/4/5-axis milling, turning, mill-turn, and Swiss-type turning for pump/valve bodies, manifolds, impellers, hubs, gearcase covers, heat-sink bases/cold plates, busbar clamps, generator & inverter housings, sensor mounts, and precision spacers. Optional CMM, FAIR, pressure and leak testing (per print) available.
Sheet Metal
Laser cutting, CNC bending, TIG/MIG/spot welding, hardware insertion for frames/guards, inverter enclosures, battery & power-electronics trays, ducts, brackets—optimized for rigidity, airflow, and coating compatibility.
Injection Molding
Rapid/bridge tooling for covers, operator interfaces, cable glands, wear inserts; materials incl. ABS/PC/PA/PBT/POM/PEEK and UL-rated grades where required.
3D Printing
Fast, versatile builds for concept models, fixtures, and complex geometries. Suitable for design validation and jig/fixture development; multiple processes/materials available.
Vacuum Casting
Urethane casting from silicone molds for cosmetic, molded-like housings or low-volume end-use parts. Excellent for short runs that demand consistent surface quality.
Die Casting
High-volume aluminum/zinc components with good repeatability and cost efficiency. Post-machining and finishing available to meet sealing and assembly requirements.
Extrusion
Cost-effective uniform profiles in aluminum or plastics, followed by precision secondary machining, finishing (e.g., anodizing), and cut-to-length kitting.
